AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE PURPOSE OF INTRODUCING NATURAL GAS TO COMMUNITIES IN RIO ARRIBA AND TAOS COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of funding a feasibility study of introducing natural gas to the communities of Cordova through Vadito in Rio Arriba and Taos counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
