AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A REGIONAL FEASIBILITY STUDY TO IDENTIFY WASTEWATER TREATMENT OPTIONS IN TAOS COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to conduct a feasibility study to identify wastewater treatment options to protect the water supply of the pueblo of Picuris and the mutual domestic water associations of Penasco, Rodarte, Rio Lucio, Chamisal, Placitas, Llano de la Cuchilla and Llano de San Juan in Taos county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
