AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO IMPROVE FOUR STATE MONUMENTS STATEWIDE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of supplementing federal dollars to improve interpretive exhibits and renovate or preserve other historic features at Coronado state monument in Bernalillo, Jemez state monument in Jemez Springs, Fort Selden state monument in Radium Springs and Lincoln state monument in Lincoln. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
