MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR DENTAL AND HEALTH SERVICES IN CLOVIS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

A. Five hundred fifty thousand dollars ($550,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 in the following amounts for the following purposes:

(1) two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to fund a community dental clinic in Clovis in Curry county; and

(2) three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to fund a community health clinic in Clovis in Curry county.

B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
