Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 852

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, strike lines 9 through 13 and inert in lieu thereof:

"C. the New Mexico municipal league, the New Mexico association of counties, the school administrators' association and the school board association that receive or expend public money from whatever source derived, excluding those that receive an independent annual audit conducted by a certified public accountant and the audit is made available to the members of the organization. A copy of the independent annual audit shall be filed with the state auditor's office and the legislative finance committee."".
