AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE A LIVING HISTORY PROGRAM AT FORT BAYARD, NEW MEXICO TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENNIAL OF THE CLOSING OF FORT BAYARD.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing a living history program on September 25 and 26, 1999 to celebrate the centennial of the closing of Fort Bayard. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
