Mr. President:

Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 17, strike Subsection H and insert in lieu thereof the following subsection:

"H. Employees of a charter school shall have the right to organize and bargain collectively with the governing body of the charter school. The governing body and the employees' exclusive representative shall bargain in good faith. Agreements reached between the governing body and the exclusive representative shall be incorporated into a written collaborative bargaining agreement if requested by the governing body and the exclusive representative.",

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
