AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NORTHERN NEW MEXICO ORGANIC WHEAT PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of supporting the New Mexico department of agriculture's northern New Mexico organic wheat project. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
