AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

A. One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 in the following amounts for the following purposes at the Roswell campus:

(1) seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to create a feasibility study for expansion of the aviation maintenance program;

(2) fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to upgrade classrooms to accommodate computers; and

(3) twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to renovate an open lab for customized training.

B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
