44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

five hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($585,000) to design, construct and equip a health and fitness center addition to the Palo Duran senior center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to design and construct a sound barrier on San Mateo boulevard between Constitution avenue and Marble avenue in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

• to the state department of public education

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to renovate the parking area and front entrance and improve the playground at Mark Twain elementary school in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
