STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE CITY OF LORDSBURG IN HIDALGO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for paving and road repairs to the city of Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

eight hundred eighty-nine thousand fourteen dollars ($889,014) to plan, design and construct an indoor swimming pool in compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county; and

• to the state department of public education

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for educational technology and infrastructure at the Lordsburg municipal schools in Hidalgo county.
