SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1005

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE THOREAU CHAPTER IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

twenty-five thousand four hundred eighty-nine dollars ($25,489) to purchase a van for the senior center at the Thoreau chapter in McKinley county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to renovate and plan, design and construct an addition at the senior center at the Thoreau chapter in McKinley county;

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase head start buses for the Thoreau chapter in McKinley county; and

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to renovate the head start center at the Thoreau chapter in McKinley county.
