AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR PROVISION OF CULTURALLY COMPETENT TOURISM SERVICE ASSISTANCE TO INDIAN NATIONS, TRIBES AND PUEBLOS IN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to contract to provide culturally competent tourism service assistance to Indian nations, tribes and pueblos located in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
