AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS TO FUND THE COURT-APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred nineteen thousand seven hundred sixty dollars ($219,760) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to fund the court-appointed special advocates program statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
