AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR SUPPORT OF A STATEWIDE CITIZEN REVIEW BOARD PROGRAM TO MEET EXPANDING CASELOAD DEMANDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-seven thousand dollars ($87,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to contract with a statewide citizen review board program to meet expanding caseload demands of reviewing cases of child abuse and neglect. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
