AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DENTAL AUXILIARY EDUCATION PROGRAM AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE AND A DENTAL EDUCATION CAREER LADDER PROGRAM AT VARIOUS NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY AND BRANCH COLLEGES.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

A. Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college in San Juan county for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 in the following amounts for the following purposes:

(1) one hundred two thousand dollars ($102,000) to establish a dental auxiliary education program at the college; and

(2) ninety-eight thousand dollars ($98,000) to establish a dental education career ladder program at various community and branch colleges throughout New Mexico.

B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
