MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN INTERCOLLEGIATE SOCCER PROGRAM FOR WOMEN AND TO INCREASE GRANTS-IN-AID FOR OTHER WOMEN'S SPORTS AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to initiate an intercollegiate soccer program for women and to increase grants-in-aid for other women's sports at the university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
