AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR THE CITY OF SANTA FE TO PURCHASE FURNITURE, FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES SERVICES FOR THE FRAIL, ELDERLY, DISABLED AND EMOTIONALLY DISADVANTAGED IN NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the city of Santa Fe to purchase furniture, fixtures and equipment to be used by a nonprofit organization that provides services to the frail, elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged people of northern New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
