Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Senate Public Affairs Committee Amendment 2.

2. On page 8, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following new section to read:

"Section 5. A new section of the Radiation Protection Act is enacted to read:

"[NEW MATERIAL] FEE EXEMPTION.--All medical, dental and veterinary x-ray equipment is exempt from fees imposed pursuant to the Radiation Protection Act."".
