FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 67.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the state agency on aging

one hundred four thousand nine hundred dollars ($104,900) to construct, equip and furnish the senior center in Des Moines in Union county;

to the department of environment

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a sewer study and design plan in the village of Logan in Quay county;

one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to replace water wells for the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) to replace water lines in Grady in Curry county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a feasibility study and improvements to the water system in Fort Sumner in De Baca county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for water system improvements in the village of Mosquero in Harding county; and

two hundred thirty-eight thousand dollars ($238,000) for new lift stations in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

to the state highway and transportation department

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to chip and seal Curry road 22 in Curry county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for road repair and maintenance in Roosevelt county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for road repair and improvements in Fort Sumner in De Baca county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for road improvements in the village of Melrose in Curry county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to continue upgrading the electrical and plumbing systems at the Union county courthouse in Clayton;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design and construct a public swimming pool in Clayton in Union county, contingent upon the passage of a seven hundred thousand dollar ($700,000) bond issue in Union county;

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to replace the heating system in the Harding county courthouse;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to purchase a new ambulance for the village of House in Quay county;

eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) for upgrading the electrical system and fire code requirements in the county jail in De Baca county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the Five Mile park renovation through the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for an emergency services building in San Jon in Quay county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design and construct a primary care clinic in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to repair the roof and renovate the old National Guard armory in Clayton in Union county;

to the governing board of Mesa technical college

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to complete the Mesalands dinosaur museum at Mesa technical college in Tucumcari in Quay county;

to the office of cultural affairs

two million dollars ($2,000,000) for Bosque Redondo memorial in De Baca county; and

to the state department of public education

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the creation of a two-way interactive television/internet system that would initially link four rural school districts and two schools of higher education for Roosevelt county;

forty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($42,500) for a greenhouse in the Tucumcari public school district in Quay county; and

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to improve the recreational fields, including purchasing and installing lighting, at Logan high school in the Logan municipal school district in Quay county.
