STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the commission on higher education

three million dollars ($3,000,000) to purchase equipment and software to implement phase 2 of the management information system, joint administrative software initiative and campus network upgrades at various post-secondary institutions throughout the state; and

three million six hundred thousand dollars ($3,600,000) to purchase and acquire digital television equipment for educational television stations throughout the state.
