STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT JUVENILE FACILITIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the capital program fund

eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a juvenile detention facility in Dona Ana county;

two hundred ninety thousand dollars ($290,000) to replace the backup generator and upgrade electrical systems at the youth diagnostic and development center in Bernalillo county;

one hundred forty-four thousand dollars ($144,000) to replace food service equipment at the New Mexico boys' school in Colfax county; and

two hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($285,000) to renovate and make improvements to facilities and grounds at the youth diagnostic and development center in Bernalillo county.
