44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR UPGRADING THE STATE'S RADIO SYSTEM FROM ANALOG TO DIGITAL.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the general services department

eleven million dollars ($11,000,000) for conversion of the state's radio communications system to digital services to enhance law enforcement officer safety and effectiveness and provide interconnection for emergency response to natural disasters.
