SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 503

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PORTALES MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for heating, ventilating and air conditioning system improvements in the main building of Portales high school in the Portales municipal school district in Roosevelt county;

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for auditorium lighting, sound system and curtains in the Portales municipal school district in Roosevelt county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for heating, ventilating and air conditioning system improvements at James elementary school in the Portales municipal school district in Roosevelt county;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for heating, ventilating and air conditioning system improvements in the ninth grade building and cafeteria at Portales high school in the Portales municipal school district in Roosevelt county; and

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for heating, ventilating and air conditioning system improvements at Valencia elementary school in the Portales municipal school district in Roosevelt county.
