STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF PORTALES IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the state agency on aging

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to furnish and equip the Portales senior center in Roosevelt county;

to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for widening Floyd highway from the city limits to Country Club road for the city of Portales in Roosevelt county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements in the city of Portales in Roosevelt county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) to purchase an ambulance for the city of Portales in Roosevelt county; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to furnish the memorial building in the city of Portales in Roosevelt county.
