SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 256 appropriates $600.0 in recurring general fund to the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration for FY2001 to purchase high-resolution digital orthophotography from aerial photography to assist the city and county of Santa Fe in the design of water and wastewater systems, storm water systems, flood plain delineation, regulation and land development projects and property tax assessments.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The bill makes a $600.0 appropriation from the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
According to Environment Department analysis, the improved quality of data taken from aerial photography would assist in location of non-point sources of pollution and remedial corrective action.
