Synopsis of Original Bill
This bill appropriates $17,574.0 from the tobacco settlement program fund to the Board of Regents of the University of New Mexico for the Health Sciences Center for research and clinical care programs in tobacco-related illnesses, including programs in laboratory science; genomics; epidemiology; education and training; clinical intervention; clinical trials; and community outreach.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $17,574.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the tobacco settlement program fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY01 shall revert to the tobacco settlement program fund.
