Synopsis of Bill



SB386 amends Section 73-21-16 NMSA 1978 to change the requirement for publication of notice for certain bids by water and sanitation district boards involving construction cost greater than $5.0 which do not receive governmental funding.



Significant Issues



The bill raises the ceiling for publishing bids from $5.0 to $10.0 on construction contracts, except for cases in which a district will receive governmental funding.
