Synopsis of Bill
Senate Joint Memorial 41 notes that Geronimo (Jerry) Martinez took pride in being a life-long farmer in Velarde and in serving 32 years in the New Mexico state legislature, where he served as sergeant-of-arms for the New Mexico Senate for the past nine years. Mr. Martinez also served as commissioner and mayordomo in la Acequia del Medio y la Acequia de los Chicos.
The memorial honors Mr. Martinez' service and life. The memorial is to be transmitted to members of his family.
