REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

fifty-two thousand dollars ($52,000) to purchase and install "SMART" board technology for the science program at Carlsbad high school in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to remodel, expand and equip the early childhood education center in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to purchase and install a mobile computer laboratory at Alta Vista middle school in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to furnish the Carlsbad high school library in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for improvements to ensure safety at elementary school playgrounds in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county; and

sixty-four thousand two hundred dollars ($64,200) for equipment for and construction of the greenhouse project at Carlsbad high school in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county.
