FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NEW MEXICO FARM AND RANCH HERITAGE

MUSEUM IN LAS CRUCES IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the office of cultural affairs

three hundred five thousand dollars ($305,000) to construct a children's barn and horse and cattle barns at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) to develop architectural plans for a children's barn and horse and cattle barns at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for a greenhouse and heating development at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for improvements to the south 20 development project, including providing rest areas that meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, seating, shade structures, interpretation stations and pathways, at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county; and

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to connect the south 20 development to the main museum property, using a section of historic bridge, at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county.
