FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE RIO RANCHO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

two million eight hundred ten thousand dollars ($2,810,000) to plan, design and construct an addition to Enchanted Hills elementary school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for heating, ventilation and air conditioning system upgrades at Lincoln middle school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for a science and technology laboratory at Independence high school, the alternative school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for improvements, including exterior painting, walkways and gutters, at the Rio Rancho elementary school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for electrical upgrades at Independence high school, the alternative school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for educational technology in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) to construct the Colinas del Norte ball field in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for ball field improvements at Mountain View middle school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to make improvements at the astronomy site, including restrooms, pedestrians and vehicular paths and extending electrical services to the telescopes, at Rio Rancho high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to improve the site at Independence high school, the alternative school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county.
