STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN FORT STANTON IN LINCOLN COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the economic development department

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design, construct and equip restoration improvements to stable building 16 at Fort Stanton in Lincoln county;

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to plan, design, construct and equip restoration improvements to building 13 at Fort Stanton in Lincoln county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design, construct and equip restoration improvements to the headquarters building 7 at Fort Stanton in Lincoln county; and

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to plan, design, construct, landscape and seed the parade grounds at Fort Stanton in Lincoln county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan and design an equestrian strategic plan for Fort Stanton in Lincoln county.
