45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CONSTRUCTING, EQUIPPING AND IMPROVING FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN EDDY AND CHAVES COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to plan, design and construct a storage tank and pipeline for the Penasco volunteer fire department in Chaves county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to a purchase a tanker fire truck and related equipment for the Penasco fire department in Eddy and Chaves counties;

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to purchase a grass fire truck and related equipment for the fire department in Dexter in Chaves county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a fire station in Dexter in Chaves county.
