Mr. Speaker:

Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 115, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 13 strike "LOCAL GOVERNMENTS" and insert in lieu thereof "MUNICIPALITIES".

2. On page 1, line 22, after "municipality" insert "with a population pursuant to the most recent federal decennial census of greater than thirteen thousand but not more than thirteen thousand five hundred people that is located in a county designated by the secretary of finance and administration as a class A county prior to April 2, 2002".

3. On page 1, line 23, after "located" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 24 in its entirety and strike line 25 through "municipality".

4. On page 4, line 5, after "municipality" strike "or county".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
