has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 3, line 14, after "offender;" insert "provided that the offender was convicted for the commission of a nonviolent

offense, as that term is defined in Subsection L of Section

33-2-34 NMSA 1978;".

2. On page 6, line 21, after "offenders" insert "on the list provided by the secretary of corrections".

3. On page 8, line 6, strike "present" and insert in lieu thereof "appointed".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
