AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL FOR A STUDY AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to develop an educational program and to study the designation of a heritage area, including Taos, Rio Arriba and Santa Fe counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
