AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE REFERRAL SERVICES TO NATIVE AMERICANS IN NEED OF PUBLIC ASSISTANCE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to provide referral services for Native Americans requiring public assistance. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
