HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 630

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 70 CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE WEST LAS VEGAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

one hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to purchase a forty-seven-passenger bus and an eighty-four-passenger bus for the head start program in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish a gymnasium for Valley elementary and middle school in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county;

nine hundred forty thousand dollars ($940,000) to plan, design and construct classroom additions to the Don Cecilio Martinez elementary school in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county; and

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) to purchase and install an exterior elevator at the school administration building in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county.
