FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN JAL IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to purchase an extended cab pickup with lights and sirens for the police department in Jal in Lea county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase firearms for police and reserve officers in Jal in Lea county;

six thousand dollars ($6,000) to equip the firing range for the police department in Jal in Lea county;

five thousand six hundred dollars ($5,600) to purchase a camera system for the police department in Jal in Lea county; and

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to upgrade the jail, including adding more beds, in Jal in Lea county.
