FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for upgrading the kindergarten playground area at Cochiti elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for asphalt for the running track at Cochiti elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for landscaping and environmental learning stations at Cochiti elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for grass fields and drainage improvements at Douglas MacArthur elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for educational technology and wiring at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to upgrade the telephone system at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for new chalkboards at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for improvements to the office entry at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for educational technology for the computer laboratory at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for educational technology for the classrooms at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase and install an automated attendance calling system at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for athletic field improvements at Valley high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for upgrading and improving the teachers' lounge at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for a covered play structure at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at La Luz elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Cochiti elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Douglas MacArthur elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Mission Avenue elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to replace carpeting at Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to purchase and install furniture in the library at Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to landscape the front and approach to Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Taft middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase books to update and upgrade the library collection at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for a covered play structure at Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to upgrade the telephone system at Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) for improvements to the playing field at La Luz elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to landscape the front and approach to La Luz elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to replace and upgrade the ceiling and lighting fixtures in the library at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for phase 1 capital improvements to the excel literacy program at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for phase 2 capital improvements to the excel literacy program at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to purchase and install playground equipment at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for parking lot upgrades and construction at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to upgrade the bathroom facilities at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to upgrade the cable and communications wiring at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county.
