AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT ADDITIONAL BIGHORN SHEEP HABITAT IMPROVEMENT AND MANAGEMENT PROJECTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the game protection fund to the department of game and fish for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to provide a program to support additional bighorn sheep habitat improvement and management projects. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the game protection fund.
