AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF GRANT COUNTY BY FUNDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COURSE AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents at western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to provide for funding of scholarship opportunities for an economic development course to be taught at western New Mexico university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
