SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to HOUSE FLOOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL 585

1. On page 5, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new subsection:

"D. The governor, with the advice and consent of the senate, shall appoint a secretary for each of the cabinet-level departments created pursuant to Subsection A of this section.".

2. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
