AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO SUPPORT LONG-TERM OUTPATIENT ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT PROGRAMS IN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to support long-term outpatient alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
