AN ACT

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO VETERANS' SERVICE COMMISSION TO DEVELOP A PROGRAM TO IDENTIFY VETERANS IN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico veterans' service commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to develop a program to identify the veterans in all of the counties of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
