HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILLS 804, 336, 717 & 835, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative

1. Strike House Taxation and Revenue Committee Amendments 3, 6 and 7 and strike the following language from page 4 of the House Taxation and Revenue Committee report:

"new section:

"Section 7. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.".,".

2. On page 8, strike lines 1 through 5 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

"Section 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.--

A. The effective date of the provisions of Section 1 of this act is August 1, 2003.

B. The effective date of the provisions of Sections 2 through 5 of this act is July 1, 2003.".
