AN ACT

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS TO CONTRACT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND REGIONALISM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the historic preservation division of the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to contract for the development of educational programs in historic preservation and regionalism. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
