AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC EDUCATION INSTRUCTION AND OTHER BUSINESS-RELATED TRAINING FOR ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE STATE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to provide economic education instruction and other business-related training to elementary and secondary public school teachers in the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
