STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Henry Kiki Saavedra

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT THE PUEBLO OF ISLETA IN BERNALILLO, TORRANCE AND VALENCIA COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

one million two hundred seventy thousand dollars ($1,270,000) to pave tribal roads at the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo, Torrance and Valencia counties; and

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to plan, design and construct a recreation center park at the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo, Torrance and Valencia counties;

two million three hundred thousand dollars ($2,300,000) to plan, design and construct a judicial and police complex at the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo, Torrance and Valencia counties;

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct a fire station for the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo, Torrance and Valencia counties; and

eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to purchase fire trucks for the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo, Torrance and Valencia counties.
